ABOUT

Paribrita is a tapestry of heritage, heart, and handloom — a celebration of India’s rich weaving legacy through timeless sarees crafted with soul.

Rooted in the looms of Bengal, we proudly design and manufacture authentic Bengal handloom sarees. But our vision flows far beyond state lines. In a pro bono spirit, we collaborate with talented weavers from across India, promoting their artistry not as a business transaction — but as a tribute to their craft.

Paribrita is not just a platform; it is a promise.
Our mission is to adopt artisan families, to stand beside them through every season of life — not as distant collaborators, but as extended kin. We believe in long-term nurturing, not fleeting freelancing.

Led by women and inspired by the strength of women artisans, every drape we offer is steeped in stories — of resilience, grace, and handcrafted beauty. Whether it’s the softness of mulberry silk or the rustic texture of tussar, each saree carries the warmth of human touch and the quiet elegance of heritage.

Paribrita — where sarees are not just worn, but lived.

MOTHER OF PARIBRITA

In 2006, Taniya Ganguly embarked on her journey in the Indian handloom industry. From humble beginnings in a small boutique, she now stands at the helm of a flourishing enterprise, empowering over 120 artisans dedicated to preserving India’s handloom heritage. Through her efforts, she has uplifted 50 women artisans, not only providing them with employment but also fostering independence for their families. Taniya’s impact extends to esteemed platforms such as the Sant Kabir and National Handloom Awards, where she has served as a jury member appointed by the Textile Ministry, Government of India. Her brands, ‘Taniyaj’ and ‘Paribrita’, epitomize her unwavering commitment to quality and innovation. Under her leadership, the industry thrives, weaving narratives of resilience and empowerment.
