ABOUT

Welcome to Paribrita

In Sanskrit, “Paribrita” can be interpreted in a few different ways depending on the context. One possible interpretation is “adorned” or “decorated,” suggesting embellishment or beautification. Another interpretation could be “surrounded” or “encompassed,” indicating a sense of completeness or wholeness.

For Paribrita, the name holds significant symbolic value. It embodies the essence of adorning oneself with exquisite craftsmanship and timeless elegance, much like how a woman might adorn herself with fine clothing and accessories. The name suggests a celebration of beauty, refinement, and attention to detail, which are central tenets of the brand’s ethos.

Additionally, the interpretation of “surrounded” or “encompassed” can speak to Paribrita’s commitment to providing a comprehensive and immersive experience. Paribrita aims to envelop its customers in a world of sophistication, where every aspect of the brand, from the products to the customer service, reflects a sense of opulence and refinement.

Overall, the name “Paribrita” resonates with the brand’s values of craftsmanship, elegance, and completeness, making it a fitting choice for a brand that seeks to adorn and empower women with exquisite handcrafted creations.

Our mission is twofold: to provide discerning customers with impeccably crafted products that exude luxury and sophistication, and to contribute to the revival of forgotten crafts that are integral to India’s artisanal legacy. We are committed to preserving traditional techniques such as Awadh Jamdani weaving, the natural dyeing technique of Shantipur, Muslin Jamdani, and more. Through our efforts, we aim to breathe new life into these age-old crafts and ensure they continue to thrive for generations to come.

During the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, we remained steadfast in our commitment to supporting the artisan community. We are proud to have retained over 40 master artisans, providing them with a stable livelihood and preserving their invaluable skills.

At Paribrita, collaboration is key to our success. We have forged partnerships with handloom artisans from four different states of India, fostering a network of talent and creativity that spans across regions. Through these partnerships, we not only showcase the diverse craftsmanship of India but also empower artisans by providing them with a platform to showcase their skills on a global scale.

Our vision is to be a beacon of excellence in the world of handloom craft, admired for our commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and ethical practices.
